Bug / missing feature: no "flavor text" [SOLVED]
Great transposition! Except the following problem. According to the rules (see Rules→Cards), there should be some "flavor text" displayed below each card.

The example on the menu even displays the flavor text of ELECTRO CATAPULT: "A 200 km long acceleration ramp up the side of Pavonis Mons, hurtling export goods into space".

It seems to me, there's actually nothing of the sort anywhere to be seen in the game, unless the option to display it is really well hidden

EDIT: SOLVED! Actually, the text exists and is accessible, as

Thanks RJJamenson for pointing this out! And thanks devs for including this feature.

I really miss this feature! I've heard that most cards in the game reflect projects that are actually hypothesized, and I would really love to learn just a bit more about them. It's quite a significant part of the content which we are denied, much more important, to me at least, than other cosmetic effects such as, say, music or animations; I would rather do without them but with the background info, providing depth and immersion. I feel cheated without it.

(If it helps: I'm on the PC version, v 1.1368, playing online multiplayer games only).

The flavor text isn't included in the steam game, as far as I know.

Well, that sounds like a very poor choice from the devs. Why would they choose to leave it out and opt for a flavorless game (both literally and figuratively). And BTW the rule-book of the game, the steam game, shows it - as I mentioned. I deduce that this feature was scrapped (or forgotten) at some late point during development.

I hope they will fix it: the game experience will improve much with it! Of all things, flavor text is definitely not what you want to remove from a board game that has the interesting scenario among its main selling points.

Dude. It's been 18 months and there are still a couple dozen cards and rules that don't work right.

And it's been almost 3 months since they did any kind of update or patch or improvement. No offense, but I think adding the flavor text is not a priority.

(Also, Jacob Fryxelius may have requested that the flavor text not be included, for all we know).

For example, this website

https://ssimeonoff.github.io/cards-list

exists with Jacob's permission as long as they don't include the flavor text.

Impressively subtle game design.
