How to get 10 Titan production?

Is there a good way or do I really have to rely on luck with the cards?

... why would you need or want that much titanium production. I've seen people get near that playing with physical copy, but it's not really a good thing. Metal production has some of the worst diminishing returns as the game goes on.

You'll have to get lucky with cards. There is 1 from a corporation, 10 from 8 easy to play cards , and 4 from hard to play cards.

Try for whatever card-draw you can get, card-draw engines can be pretty powerful anyway and the low AI is..um...not good.

I do! Right now I have 9 production at gen 19 and the ai has only to rise O2 by 6 points to end.... I am just drawing and praying. xD

And in the final turn this ****** ai played the one card I know still in game and it gave him 1 production... and game ends. DARN! xD

Can you not get it in the solo variant? It'll be a lot easier once expansions come in.

Just start a solo challenge. Check for a start with at least 1 titanium prod (corpo or card choice), get science and some energy prod to get your drawing cards.

Then it's all luck.

Speaking of achievements, I finally won in solo mode and was so sure I'd get an achievment. Turns out I've got to win 4 more to get it lol. Back to work.

Thanks for the tip with solo variant! Hadn't thought of that. No more card stealing from ai! I'll try it out soon!

yup, solo mode works and got me the achievement... was also the first time I didn't beat solo mode I think :s, because my focus was on drawing loads of cards and getting everything titanium :)

I did hotseat 2 player, playing both sides myself and discarding any titanium cards that went into the wrong player's hand for eventual reshuffle to get the 10 production achievements for metals since those are incredibly unlikely to happen organically. It was tedious but got the job done with no chance of failure.

Yeah, I did the same today to knock out plants, 10 resources, and steel. Got to gen 41 with some insane production. Also managed to pull off the place one of every tile.

Did it easily with Prelude's Robinson Industries.
Start a "standard" game (1 base prod of each) vs a worthless CPU, and level as much productions as you can so your special power can raise your titan prod.
(don't be afraid of wasting 2 turns buying stupid power plants ^^)
Oh, and enable draft, so you have better odds of finding what you're looking for.

> Avoid terrarforming. Personally, I improved oxygen and created a few oceans to raise my TR, but I kept all my heat (ended-up with over 160 ^^) to slow the endgame as much as possible.
I also picked every heat/temperature card I could during the drafts, btw.

In the end, I unlocked both 10 titan and 10 steel prod stupidchievements at once, despite terrible luck on my drafts
Ended-up losing the game, though... but with 119 vs 137 xD not that terrible.
