could someone tell me how to make it work on CZ?

Enable console first, if it is disabled. Start the game with " -console" command and press ~ in the menu. Then type in: "hud_fastswitch 1"

I haven't tried this yet, but if it's anything like enabling it in newer Valve games, you would go to Keyboard, click Advance, and check the box thst says "fast weapon switch"
Again, I haven't tried, so I don't know if it will work, but that's how it works in other Valve games.

The correct console command is "hud_fastswitch 1" (not "cl_fastswitch 1"). Also, IIRC, there isn't any option in the options menus to enable it.

Anyhow, "hud_fastswitch 1" _should_ work, I have no idea why it doesn't on your PC.
