Could not load hw.dll ?!? Need Help!!!

If i start Cs Condition Zero an error appears: Could not load hw.dll. Please try again at a later time.

How can i fix it?! :O

go to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life if there is a hw.dll file in there just delete it , and go to library then right click on CZ then go to properties hit the Local files Tab then click to verify integry of game cache. Verify Twice :D

im having the same issue with half life 1

Literally nothing has worked for me. I've tried everything to make Half life run but it just wont. Keeps complaining about hw.ddl error
