CS:Condition Zero Gearbox Version

Valve,

I'd like to extend my gratitude for Terror-Strike's accidental release. We are actually having fun with this old prototype.

Please give the fans the original Condition Zero that was supposed to be released by Gearbox as that game had more promise than what got released today.

It's been decades since CZ was released and could not help but wonder about Gearbox's original development for CZ and why it was cut and sent to Turtle Rock Studios and Ritual which then butchered the game.

Please release it as a beta branch for all of us to experience the 2001-02 Condition Zero, the way it was meant to be.

From my understanding, some content from the Gearbox version of Condition Zero were reused for CZ Deleted Scenes and for the Counter-Strike Xbox release. I know that there's more to that but it's unlikely that Valve will release the original version of the game considering the whole hassle that could lead behind the scenes and you know, undisclosed content can't be freed because some random individual online says so. It's the reality.

Well, if you don't ask, you don't get.
Valve did release beta content for L4D a while back after community demand. I've always wondered what kind of game would CSCZ be if Gearbox released it. Even if they don't release content about it, information still can be provided on how the game was. It's also a wishful thinking/request from someone who's been playing CS since Beta 7.0.

This would be pretty neat though.

I think at least getting some of it release would be good, like models, weapons, textures. So people can use it for mods or whatever.

In gamebanana is many deleted maps to try. "Counter-Strike - Deleted & Beta Maps Collection". Maps Gearbox created are really intresting. For example de_hankagai.

I was on valve cut content discord server and someone actually attempted to contact the gearbox developer and they were so close but they needed permission of valve to release the thing meaning maybe there's a copy of cscz

Well actually u can ask valve for permission to release the cscz but it's pretty impossible gearbox still have the build I think
