Just another character transfer question.

So basically I am in the process of trying to transfer a couple characters from my old wizard101 account that I spent a ton of money on in the past to my new account which is on steam, I am pretty familiar with all of the rules and what you need to do before asking them to transfer. However you CANNOT add a non steam account to your family account using your steam account, now I know that they previously stated that steam accounts and non steam accounts will be separate however the community has proven that they are able to move their old accounts onto steam by simply deleting and replacing files on their computer, and the servers for steam are the same as the regular servers so in my mind a character transfer should be possible. I already contacted their support team with a similar question but with how long they are taking lately I wanted to see what other people think will happen. TLDR is I want to know if a character transfer is possible from a normal to steam account and if not why. I also want to know if people think Kingsisle will actually go through with my transfer even if its not connected via a family account, sorry for such a long post, I really hope that this is a possibility.

Hi Inpuktion,

Unfortunately the transfer is a bit more formal of a process. What I mean by that is the way that players are able to use their base accounts on Steam is not through an official process, including not one that keeps from update to update.

In otherwords, each time a game update comes around you have to do the transfer again. This wouldn't work for character transfers :(.

@Sparck I see, after further research I understand why it's like that, a bit annoying but oh well. I actually did end up getting a reply from Kingsisle saying they would do it this time only and for only one of my characters which I found a bit strange, I guess ill keep my hopes low but maybe somehow a miracle will happen lol. Regardless thanks for your timely response.
