Question about Having a pet on Wizard 101

Hello Do I need to have a pet on Wizard 101 like as a requirement to complete the game and do stuff I see some people never have one and some people do. I don't want to have one on Wizard 101 cause I don't care for them in video games.?

you 100% do not NEED a pet but it is recommended to have one. They give good bonus stats/cards that can help you in battles.

You will get pet drops from bosses/mobs so id just use those if you dont want to touch the pet farming/leveling scene. ( completing quests with a pet equip will give it XP so you wont have todo pet games/ feed them.)

Thanks but I got rid of my pet you got at the begging I just am not a fan of pets in Video games.

wizard101 community is alot nicer then steam my guy but trust me ur gonna get tons and tons of pets from quests ranom boss drops etc so yea i have tons i dont use but the one i mainly use is my pet she heals me and gives tons of cards like extra damage critical and blades and hit spells if i need em really saves not needing heals since my pet heals for me

When the pets first introduced in game they where only as companions without any uses but later on KingsIsle introduce they stats, etc which helps you in your battles.

And as "wizard master結城晶子リ" mentioned lot of us old players have tons of pets that we have either collected from bosses drops, purchasing in-game currency stores, Crowns, hatching, gift card packs.

Some of them are extremely rare (with random rare stats) that you only get them through hatching with those who have them in case you don't have a way to purchase them with real money (before KingsIsle introduce the gift cards been able to purchase through their website, the only physical way to get them was by purchasing them from stores in USA or have some friends gift it to you and/or get them through ebay and such).

true but for some reason it seems that they "drop it" as there are no news all these years
