Dragoon gear worth farming?

Recently got back into the game. Last time I played the catacombs and dragoon set had just released (i am level 135). Is it worth going out of my way to grind it out or can i still push through with darkmoor gear?

It was a long grind for me to craft all seven items for the Dragoon set, but I thought it was worth it eventually when I went through Karamelle and Lemuria. Karamelle gear is nigh on impossible to complete.
