Faster Launcher?

Is it me or is the Steam provided Wizard101 launcher much faster getting to "play" than the KI Wizard101 launcher?

I guess so too, I opened the launcher and leaved it updating, while I were doing something else, them BUM! The game just opened.
Had to close it through task manager though but still, fast update.

Its because the game doesnt download all the assets when u first boot it up. After you go to each area and download that area's files it will take just as long. But who is willing to pay $10 to start a new acc LOL

When you use the Steam launcher, it hasn't loaded any of the ingame sprites and textures. I was doing a gauntlet on my f2p account and it had to load all the castles and gauntlets, which took a while. Once you have to load all the worlds, castles, animations, sprites, etc then the launcher will take longer to load up. This is why it takes barely anytime to download wizard101 when you got it.
