your game is not free to play

either charge an upfront cost or something, but stop advertising as free to play. it's more like a demo. you aren't getting many people willing to pay a $10 monthly fee to play a ten year old dated game that wasn't that good to begin with. Not to mention the blatant p2w aspects - items that you can only get by paying. Not going to happen, people are sick of this sh!!t now.

The Devs going to get a ton of these posts since when I looked through the forum they locked one of them for "Already Existing" then linked to another thread they locked for "People Arguing".

IF it was bad it wouldnt be still populated and going. Simple and short answer that we can agree on "STEAM VERSION" is a money grab they know people will spend on both so they made it unable to connect the old to the new to FORCE people to pay.

It is not P2W, not by a long shot.
1) You can get all items ingame, with enough time and effort.
2) The items you pay for aren't that good, you can become good without them and oftentimes drops from dungeons are better.

Yes, of course, it has a shop, but that is not as bad as being P2W.

And the game is not 10 years outdated, it has been updated regularly in the past 10 years and now has tons and tons of contents, it is about 4-5x as big as it was 10 years ago (and is a lot bigger than other games around).
Also the graphics are not 10 years old, as you can tell by simply looking at them.

So how do you earn a membership in game? Tell me this "WoW" machanic?
Because if you were to earn crowns you will take aproxamently 14.6 years to be able to BUY the game at its current state.

So again it isnt p2w? I have played for 10 years i have the Frontier dragon to prove it.
Second, the fact you have to Rebuy a sub or crowns for "Steam version" and cant use a account form the original WHILE playing with original players makes no since why you cant use a original account fro before steam..

You are mistaking something here.
P2W means that you have to pay for shop items because they are so overpowered that without them, the game is unbeatable.

What we have here is P2P (pay to play), a normal ♥♥♥ model. Yes, you need to pay for it, of course, but it is not P2W. In fact I think because you pay for it it is actually less P2W than other "free" games, because they are not depending on your ingame purchase that much.

A demo is short about of game time befor u can tplay no more asking u to by the full game wizard101 doesnt do that u can continue to play the game with out a memebership it deosnt sopt u from playing it u can continue to play it and levle up just be really really slow but u can continue to play it and do other things in side wizard city or play house dungeons witch drops awsome gear perm mounts awsome pets and other stuff like gardening monstorlogy crafting etc as well as hatching pets with ppl

$10 a month, that is a good price for a MMO game, It also has allot of content, content that you don't need to pay for unlike World of Warcraft, Where you have to buy the Expansions. The Crown shop is optional, You don't need to buy anything from it, You can progress through the game with the drops from dungeons, The dungeon gear is also better then gear from the crown shop. You can buy perm mounts from the Crown shop with Crowns, But you can buy a few with gold, ( Around 50k-100k, If you have nice friends, they might help you farm for stuff to sell, And there is stuff that will sell for a good amount of gold ), There are also some bosses that have a chance to drop you a Perm Mount that you can only buy with Crowns.

I love thes because the games been doing good since release. The game is free to play. You can continue playing after level 12. You can access areas for crowns or a subscription but wizardcity is a free to play area. You can farm the kraken, pvp, help others advance, pet games, and housing. Its more then enough to gather if you want more. 10/month is super cheap. They have membership sales all the time.

Actually, there is a website that is accepted by Kingsisle that gives you free crowns by answering quizzes. Each quiz, if correct 75% or up, will give you 10 crowns, and you can earn 100 every 19 hours or every day, so you don't have to pay at all for a membership, and as long as you do 10 quizzes a day, some super easy (like Kindergarten level), you can get 100 crowns a day, around 36,500 a year.
