Did they combine the steam servers with the main servers yet?

The Steam launcher as far as I know just connects steam accounts to the already established Wiz101 servers. So there is no separate Steam servers I believe. But I could be wrong.

Oh, i remember the reason Wiz101 had overwhelmingly negative reviews was because the servers were seperate, but right now the reviews are overwhelmingly positive so i just imagined maybe they combined them. It would be swell if someone would test it out.

Im really suprised on how the Gameplay holds up! I Copy pasted the main Wiz101 launcher into my Steam files so I can play my old wiz account from 2010. But when I made an account for Steam there were tons of players so it is likely they resolved this Issue.

Oh well that makes me really happy to hear then, since my 1 year membership is still in effect until june, i enjoy playing on and off, and the 1 year member is only 60 bucks, sometimes they put it on sale for 40, so instead of 4 months of member (which is how much 40 bucks gives you) you can do 60 to get a year, and a year is waaaay too much time to do the whole game, if you dont have a life that is, i enjoy just farming, grinding and raising pets

Yeah, I frequently play with my friends who use the website launcher :) it's all good now!

I just logged in via the original launcher and the main area seems DEAD. Is there another area that everyone is in?

Did you switch to the popular realms? Press Escape and in the far right side of the options you can see an icon that looks like 3 little black cannonball looking balls, click it and there you can switch realms to meet your friends, it also tells you which realm and area your in.

NP! if you need an example for your friends tell them something like "Lets meet in the commons on the Helephant realm" as an example, if they dont know how to change realms just explain it to them ez pz. Hope yall have fun now

Steam has always been on the same servers as the client. The majority of the negative reviews were the fact that you couldn't use the original/client login information to access the game via Steam (unless you used the directory trick). In order to pay through Steam you had to make a completely new account. The EU server remains the only separate server.
