yeh i noticed that cloud option in start.. so there is mid game option to,.. ill look for it where you told , thanks
I sort of like them, but would rather see them in smaller amounts/sizes. As it is a good 30% of the system is in cloud which seems a bit extreme to me considering the solar system has none. I could see a super nova system would have a lot of clouds.
That and the fact that when clouds spawn where the jump gate should be the jump gate does not spawn making it possible that some sectors are completely closed off to the player.
Would changing any of these values work?

I think it would be cooler if solar storms were implemented. Where a cloud is thrown off the star and slowly travels away from the star, causing havoc to anything it hits.
I wanted to go to a certain system by looking at the galaxy map, I then go to the warp gate that is in the same direction in-system. But there was a giant cloud there and flying all through the cloud where the gate should have been came up with nothing. I will have to go back to that system as I used a warp gate that went to another star system.
It might be a mod thing but I have not modded anything system spawn wise other than more asteroids inside the star's corona. Sending you a save file would not be helpful since you don't have the mods I have.
Apparently sometimes the jump gates in a star system are upside-down from the directions the other star systems are in when looking at the galaxy map.
So, if I want to go to a star system when looking at the galaxy map that is down and to the right, when I look at the warp gates on the star system map, the warp gate is instead on the top left (to go to the bottom right star).
So there is no way to minimize the nebula (clouds) in a system? They can only be turned on or off? (see post #3)
