Aaaaww... well atleast the devs started to add some also so thats nice.
and the game needs a ♥♥♥♥ ton more modules. that beside the gameplay problems of "not balanced" stuff (which has nothing at all to do with deck mounted weapons), is the most important stuff to do right now actually. car 2.0 nice n dandy, roadmap? yeah... but until then, what should ppl do? build the exact same ships that actually work for the 666th time?
i deem you´d need at least 10x the amount of modules by now. its 2 years... we got what... 8? and half of those are reskins... you see, the builder only has 4 directions and most modules are boxes... so theres a really tight physical limit on what you can do with those...
the last thing the game needs are even more modules that only can be build at the same limited space 99% of all other modules can be build... on the outer hull... you got what there? L-shields, all guns beside ions, chains, decks, armor, technically mrts if you dont wanna waste half your building space because of the hillarious exhaust, big part of normal engines for the same reason... and all the supply for that stuff... (e.g. try to place "forward facing" PDs on a ship... they ALWAYS are in the way...)
so, if i would have a say in this, id suggest stopping adding even more of the "integrated" ships in heaps... because they actually dont matter... nearly none of those are something a player would "capture" even if we could, as the design philosophy is completely different... so using up "dev resources" for that stuff is a waste... make more modules instead... so not only the AI gets some toys, but the players as wel...
and please balance out the modules you added... chains suck if you refeed them... couldnt be the intended way to build them without supply to make them a net positive dps... same goes for mrts... only way they actually "net positive" is if you double dip engine rooms, and even then you get a slight size and money advantage only, of which money isnt even a problem... and still have only a fracture of actual acceleration with slightly higher top speed per space... which is totally irrelevant in 90% of the fights... especially if it takes half an hour to reach it...
*sigh* rant mode off... =P
Also building built ins is not using dev time as the devs are not the ship architects.
And lastly chainguns are really good and mrt are broken if used right.

not really, its always possible to add things to games, if u work on balance!!!! it is lazy excuse
to speak about balance for not adding stuff in my opinion ;) doesnt need to be turrets but..more weapons = always good ;-; since the free version not much changed for combat. I was very happy that the bigmountedcannon found the way to the game. But if u dont like that singleplayer thing then u are a bit disappointed, especially cause u cant change color of bullets or something of the original weapons..if u want to have factions..and all use the same weapons and u have no chance to config stuff..then its ;-; I know, there a lot of important updates in work like other things..but..more stuff would help. Walt is ..so slow :c i mean maybe much to do rl . I don't mean it in a bad way but walt..needs much more..arms and hands and fingers and..ye
