I was selling amution, selling to the traders, selling to the station, the traders seens looking what ist to much in the station and buy this and make room for youre stuff ;)
sometimes comes 3-5 tradships, after few min the next 2-5 ships.
Let the shiptradewindows open, he wait that you closed it, the he move away, if he nopthing more to trade, let him fly.
build a storage place, it picks up materials close by to build stuff so u dont have to gather, you can have more room to store stuff and the storage itself can be sold once you get to a place to sell stuff, so you can keep your mass down until you actually need more storage, or just not pick up steel, r-click the salvage button to filter.
if you filter for the expensive stuff you wont have to worry about hauling/selling as much, but you also have to increase your battles to get the same amount of money from salvage then, so if you have the patience then you can even build your next ship as you pick up parts for it, and leave it uncrewed near a station you sell stuff at, for when you get more crew. This would be cheaper and faster than selling your loot, then buying again when you want to build, tho it would be better to just have a freighter type ship as your next ship to make progressing your cash faster per battle, then you can get more ships for getting through battles with less damage/costs
yeah, check for any mods to the space stations. From what I've seen (vanilla), my assumptions could be wrong here ....
The space stations appear to spawn items. I saw this while waiting at a station. The station magically acquired one tri-steel and there wasn't any trade ships around to transfer the item.
Chain of events, perhaps ...
Considering you cannot trade, the station is full.
The station is full because it's spawning items (debatable).
The station is full because nobody is trading.
Nobody is trading because pirates are destroying trade ships somewhere?
Anyway, if there's a mod that adds more "items" or adds manufacturing to a station, and I'm correct about the auto-stocking of items (even though there isn't manufacturing on the station), then the mod could have introduced a supply/demand problem.
My best guess, certainly debatable.
