Starting with a custom ship ?

Can you start with a custom starter ship ? Like build one within the budget of the starter ships then use that ? Its kind of tedious having to shift around bunks while rebuilding one of the starters.
If yes i can't figure out how ,is there someone that can point me into the right direction ?

yes, you have 3 from game and can use own one, on right-up-corner is the optionbutton from the ship, klick and import ;)

On the new game start menu where you select your starter ship, there is a hamburger menu (3 lines) that you click and select "Load Custom Ship".

Remember, blueprints cost money and they are added to the cost of any ship you make. So keep that in mind when you are making a new starter ship.
