Determining ship weight without adding it up by hand?
I'm probably missing something, but I don't see the total weight of a ship listed anywhere in the UI. It would be nice to know the total weight of a ship as I'm building it, so I can have an idea of how fast it will be. Obviously, I don't want to have to add up the weight for all the components by hand. Is there a way to see this info? Thanks!

When you're in the build menu, there's a blue arrow on the right side of the screen. Click that and it will show total ship cost and weight.

It doesn't show up in blueprint mode, so you have to do it in regular build mode.

Thanks for your reply saideron. It's too bad that's not available in blueprint mode. That would make designing ships easier.

Haha, yeah, I wish it was there too, but I guess the game only calculates it for valid ship builds since you can go wild in blueprint mode.

One workaround is to do the build in Creative mode. Then you can build it and check and not worry about using up resources or credits. I've done that with most of my ship builds recently. I've been trying to keep my main battleships under 750t or so.
