eh, im sure you could mod it in pretty easily.

add a block, 1 meter range, infinite ammo, no shot texture. pretty sure you can have blocks that exist under the bullet layer.

done, you now have contact damage.

I personally don't like ramming in games like this. It's what killed Airships: Conquer the Skies for me. Ramming was so good in this game, that you could lose battles by blowing an airshop out of the sky which then falls on top of you and kills you. Ramming is always a cheesy multiplayer tactic. Plus, it's usually very CPU intense, because every block doing damage has to be simulated. If you've ever played something like Space Engineers or From the Depths, you'll know how slow the game becomes, the moment you ram something.

I'm happy that Cosmoteer doesn't have ramming.

well if you think about it ramming is pretty mush useless in multiplayer im talking more of for the AI and really there lots of things to counter it so if you some how constantly getting rammed then seems like a you problem

Build some structure and place explosives on the end, then ram the enemy. LOL

Words can not explain how OP it would be if it existed.

Just make a flying armor wedge, there, you've won.

From what i remember, in Space Engineers it's pretty fun because your ship and the other one melts into together. Maybe for this Game with a certain drawback that you also take a huge hit for yourself?

Well, the roadmap more or less says yes..

Because phase 4 is supposed to introduce melee weapons (a Buzzsaw was named as an example). Not REALLY "ramming", but the result might be pretty much the same.
