Game is super laggy when transfering large quantities of goods.
Title. Didnt have these issues up to level 9/10, but since i have built larger ship/stations (2,5mio+) its super laggy and barely playable. And you can completely forget timewarp (8x)...

edit: Todays patch fixed the issue for me at least on 1x speed. Its still a slideshow on higher speeds (especially 4x and 8x) but still - its going somewhere :)

Sent a savegame yesterday to the dev and today its a hotfix. Thats pretty awesome! Thanks! :steamhappy:

I noticed this problem too, it makes the the endgame basically unplayable. You don't even have to transfer mass goods. If you destroy too many large ships in a zone, all of their debris cloud and cargo spraying from the husks will cause tremendous performance issues.

Whats your cpu? I noticed that the game is very cpu demanding (but using many cores which is good).

same for me, killed a station, lots of ammo droped, frames droped from 120 to 1 on higher gamespeeds.
When i reloaded again, fps was fine for some seconds, but got bad again then.

COU Intel I 9900K
8 cores, 16 threads 4,8 MHz

And you pretty much can't transfer anything in COOP at speed higher then 1x with just 2 players, desynch hits hard.

I think there could be room for improvements when ammunition and other wares would drop in stacks. So instead of a 20 steel plates spreadin into 20 unique items a stack of 20 would drop. Same for ammunition...
The astronauts could still only colect the same amount taken from the stack until it is empty.

For now it seems that the game is trying to render each item separately. Perhaps it would be a good decision to make separate items combine into stacks to reduce frame drops, the same solution minecraft came up with.

Same problem here. I have enjoyed the game to the 20 hours mark, after that its only a frame rame drop even on x1 speed, with my 500 crewman ship. Its sad, I'll wait ubtil something is done to improve it. I run a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 1070Ti.

Have the same problem here too with low FPS, after restart it's good for a few seconds.

Intel I9-9900K
32GB Memory
GTX 1080 - 8GB.

I made my self a second ship with the aim to use it for industrial stuffs, and I couldnt play above 1x speed. Sounds like I'm gunna struggle sticking it all on one ship as well :(

yep same problem, i pretty much have to leave any sector once I've had 1 or 2 big fights as the frames drop to 10. Also on an i9 but I noticed my CPU utilization is never more than 30-40%. As soon as I go to a new sector it's fine again until after the first big battle.
