Any parts that have been in combat or an FTL jump only give 75% refund.
Any parts that haven't been in combat or FTL jump give full 100% refund.
I can recycle all my parts for 100%, as long they are full health. If the parts are damaged, only the repair cost is deduced.
If you reclaim an abondoned ship (grey), you can only recycle them for 20-25% of initial cost.
Does this mean I gain nothing from deconstructing the ship with crew, as compared to using mining lasers and gatherers?
I captured this pirate base, and it kept giving me the message when I tried to change stuff.
Also, the 'parts that are NOT part of the Demo were 'missing' from the base. You might want to modify the base for the demo... (Engine control room and the big thruster for example)

Is it affected only by FTL between systems, or when you travel within system as well?
Regarding combat, that's fun, coz I've got into freindly fire, but it didn't chage.
And I think that repaired parts should drop that modifier, as you already spent a lot on it.
And also we need in place some mechanic to move parts on differnt places, as currently move is: sell+buy.
