how to install mod.io's mod in to the game

I would like to know as well. Is it the same as non DE? If so the tutorial on YouTube is really hard to understand and focus on with the music and such.

Not sure about maps, but for tanks:

DIY vehicle? Just press subscribe in the in game mod.io menu.

Actual mod vehicle? Do the following:

1) Go to the page on mod.io for the tank you want.
2) Click the cloud icon on the right of "Description" to download the mod.
3) Go to steam library and right click on Panzer War.
4) Go to Manage -> Browse local files
5) Go to "PanzerWar-DE/mods/PanzerWarDE/mods/Installs"
6) Open your Downloads folder
7) Double click the .zip file you have downloaded from mod.io to see inside it
8) Select the .modpack file, press Ctrl + C to copy it, and then paste it into the Installs folder.
9) Run Panzer War and your mod should be working.
