Skyrim VR [feet tracking] - always stuck running

I wanna use the feet tracking option with skyrimVR(FUS modlist).

I start steamvr, then natural locomotion and then start skyrim
through the mod manager. I use 2 joycons at my feet and my phone with the old app in my backpocket).

When i join skyrim I am just stuck running. on further investigation it seems like my left stick is stuck going forward (for example in menus it keeps scrolling up). The stick is in its natural middle position though.
Once i disable natural locomotion the issues stops.
Does anyone have any advice/pointers? I am using the default profile and tried recalibrating multiple times.
