Got it, accepted it, what do I do now?
WiP Test with Pavlov + Knuckles
Note that usually you can sprint, but in this case we couldn't enable it with the Knuckles so we both have sprint disabled. It's probably just matter of fiddling some more with SteamVR input.
Have you guys figured out how to enable roomscale motion without activating walk-in-place when moving your feet to move in roomscale?
PS3 Move controllers are playable and keep orientation properly!
You can attach them to the ankles with a couple of arm phone holders: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/936084291467954361/75484CF56BDF650BA5EEEBF96DEDB66E8CD932D1/
We'll update the private beta tomorrow to support them. Does any beta tester with trackers have PS Move too?
Next step is roomscale filter. I think it will be easy and will be done tomorrow as well.
After that, a UI that shows tracker status and yaw is imperative. That should make easy to detect common problems with relative trackers.
Out of curiosoty, how will the roomscale filter work? Will it filter out walk-in-place locomotion when a button is held down? That seems like a good solution.
The config menu options for that were really appreciated.
Just bought another license for the tool for myself, so now we both have it. I have done some VR locomotion research, so we have two VR-sets here for testing the tool with Trackers. We will be testing the new beta in pure SteamVR 1.0 environment (wireless Vive), pure SteamVR 2.0 environment (Vive Pro) and probablly also in mixed environment (1.0 + 2.0). We have three older and three newer model Trackers.
