Nalo isn't working in any configuration
I can't get NALO to work in any way shape or form. I've tried the basic hands mode, and I've tried feet mode using PS move controllers and a cell phone. I have properly configured the PS move controllers and calibrated them before trying. I have tried to play Pavlov VR, Boneworks, Half life Alyx, and Doom VFR. Nothing has worked so far.

I have tried:
- Running Steam VR as admin
- Running NALO as admin
- Running Steam as admin
- Verifying the integrity of the game and steam VR.
- Restarting the computer.
- Reinstalling SteamVR.
- Reinstalling NALO.
- Fiddling with NALO profile settings.
- disabling steam overlays for NALO and the individual games.
- Using the Steam VR and Steam Beta updates.
- Moving SteamVR and NALO to different drives.
- Updating video drivers.

It seems as though NALO isn't passing through inputs to the games. Any assistance would be great.

Here are my specs:

- MSI Z270M Mortar Motherboard (MS-7A69)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz (4.40Ghz Turbo, not OC'd)
- PNY NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti - Water Cooled, Not OC'd
- 32GB RAM
- 4x 1 TB SSD RAID,
- 1x 4TB HDD,
- 1x 3TB HDD,
- 1x 256 gb NVMe SSD (OS Drive)

DxDiag and SteamVR System reports available if needed.

Cheers,

need help with this too. I just bought it yesterday but I'm having no luck in getting it to work. NaLo seems to work by itself (its counting steps in the app when testing) but I'm not moving in game (tried with Fallout VR with the recommended settings and also in Blade & Sorcery).

I'm using Oculus Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop (wireless)

Same for me. Bought it, and can't make it work. Had it working with Skyrim VR, but could only walk backwards. A post said the next update would fix, but no idea when that will be. May just ask for a refund, as it seems to be useless.

There might be a simple solution. After A LOT of messing around with the settings I've tried something simple: from the VIRTUAL DESKTOP GAMES Menu (not from STEAM!) I started NaLo and from NaLo I started VRChat to test. And look at that, it just started working

I returned it, but may check it out again after the next update. I also switched from Ocucus Rift S to an Oculus Quest 2, and now have Virtual Desktop. I like this headset far better so far.

Guys, I figured out why Nalo wasn't reading in game, and it was because I had an additional third party driver installed that was somehow interfering. Specifically, I was using leap motion steamvr drivers made by SDraw. I have to disable them by moving the folder in my drivers folder for leap motion somewhere else in order to get Nalo to work. I am still having issues with getting my phone to connect to Nalo for more than 10 seconds, but it's something. Try checking your drivers folder for steamvr.
