Natural Locomotion

Natural Locomotion

Skyrim VR, not working at all.
Alright, so all the settings in the start up guide were followed, I'm not sure how to disable the cameras on the headset, as I have yet to find an option for it. I'm using the cosmos elite headset with two vive controllers. I've tried having feet mode active, but I forget if I tried it with feet mode disabled. Oof, this is a tough one. While I play modded SSEVR, I also tried vanilla without SKSE. Nothing seems to work, and I can't find a working guide.

Are you using controller bindings in SteamVR?
What trackpad is being used for locomotion, right or left?

I was using default bindings. Right-handed, using left trackpad for moving around ingame.

Try enabling left handed mode option in nalo, just in case. Maybe it is wrongly detecting your headset orientation

Did it work for you?

I'm sorry, I haven't gotten around to testing it. Will do so now.
By the way, the straps for my sensors arrived recently, so I have a headset, two vive controllers, and two vive sensors with their straps. I'm about to test left-handed mode, but if it turns out that it doesn't work, should I even bother trying the sensors later?
I gotta say, I didn't have much faith that it would work in left handed if it didn't work in right handed. It works! Gonna swap back to right handed and see if it sticks.
Ok, so, I enabled left-handed mode and it works almost perfectly, except I am a righty. When left is off, it's as if the NaLo wasn't even running, when left is on, I move right when I lean left, and left when I lean right. I turned on feet mode, walk in place, and... There's no way I don't fall and break my headset when running and jumping. :^D Is there a way to jump without requiring physical jumping? Maybe run with trackers, jump with controllers? Lastly, I am a slow walker. I take a step, character moves forward and stops before I take another. Is there a way to... I dunno... Err, increase the duration of one step? Also I do find it pretty funny how I can sprint by lifting my foot back. It's like I'm an ice skater. :D Skyrim on ice, coming soon!
One more thing: How do I enable NaLo in steam home? I have kokiriko village as my home, and I'd love to move around in it, even if I'd still have to enter homes via teleportation.

NaLo works emulating joystick/trackpad input using your body movements to calculate this input and require the game to have joystick/trackpad locomotion.

SteamVR home uses teleport to move around, so it is not compatible with NaLo.

I see... so for some reason NaLo is detecting the orientation of the headset in the opposite direction and that is why the left controller is being detected as right and vice versa. We will try to fix it.
Thanks for looking into it. Also is there a way to change the active step time? Like when you move your foot back and it starts stepping, I walk slowly, as I've stated, and it would be nice to continue walking a little longer after I move my foot back to standing position. Otherwise, I'm very impressed. There was no motion sickness while moving via NaLo. Nice job!

Dreadful news. So I tried fallout 4 vr with hands and also with feet. It only works in left handed mode. I turned off lefty mode, went back ingame, started hearing the sound of it calibrating, and no result to it. Once again, I'm using a cosmos elite headset with original vive controllers, and two 2018 vive tracks strapped to my upper ankle. This is more or less just to let you know that it's also not working on fallout 4 vr. Good luck to you! I look forward to seeing this fixed.
