Did you try starting vivecraft again? It takes a moment for Steam to realize that Nalo is running in the background. Can you run Vivecraft without Nalo?

NaLo can't launch Vivecraft automatically yet. Launch it manually (with Minecraft launcher) but wait until the SteamVR background is not a dark grid.

Launches fine without Nalo.

And so I'm understanding better;
Launch SteamVR, launch Nalo and then launch Vivecraft separate? But when I do that, I still doesn't load. I waited 20 minutes and it didn't seem like Nalo was even doing anything. Or Vivecraft opens and Nalo isn't like... connected to the game. It's just Vivecraft, SteamVR and Nalo running but... Nome are working together.

When I go to the browser with Nalo or to the desktop or anywhere like Steamhome, nalo vr client becomes unreachable and then the steamhome glitches out and I can’t get back. Just takes me to the sphere loading spot.

Idk if it’s supposed to take 30 minutes but I’m afraid my laptop is gonna overheat and actually fry.

Did you wait until SteamVR's black scene disappeared before opening Vivecraft?

In other words:
  • Open NaLo, start profile.
  • Wait a minute.
  • Open Vivecraft with Minecraft launcher.

Edit: Also try disabling SteamVR home, or enabling/disabling the demo in NaLo settings.

Edit 2: I don't know what's the "sphere loading spot". What headset are you using?

I'll try that right now (the disabling SteamVR and playing with the demo mode option in nalo)

And I'm using Dell Visor - the mixed reality thing. Gonna return it and get some other headset maybe. Really annoying having to have windows mixed reality, steamvr and Vivecraft open at the same time. It just seems excessive as Hell.

SteamVR is very light, but SteamVR Home is a whole app that just takes time to open etc. NaLo will be a SteamVR overlay in the future, so eventually you'll be able to just open Vivecraft.

I installed this to be able to open SteamVR from WMR: https://github.com/rwalker123/SteamVRLauncher

I'll probably make a NaLo icon myself, easier to install than that one, which will serve as a launcher.
