Natural Locomotion

Natural Locomotion

HP Reverb G2 Compatabiltiy
Do you know if you will be able to make NaLo and the Reverb G2 work together when it is released? I know it will take some time though.

Thanks

We just published a new version of Natural Locomotion which adds support to HP Reverb G2:

I tried mine last night, Its working , but only for tilting the stick. With Stick Touch that I used to do on Quest 2 - not working. Moving with Stick Tilt is working, but with that I lose the jump ability, and it becomes less intuitive because, well, I have to tilt the stick, which is almost the same as a regular movement. I love NaLo specifically because it allows to move by swinging hands and only while touching the sticks and not pushing/pressing anything. It's playable with Stick Tilt, but a bit glitchy. Also, unrelated to G2, NaLo no longer remembers settings. I go into Skyrim VR profile, redo the buttons the way I like them, and after a next restart of the program, it's all back to defualt.

Reverb G2 controllers don't have touch sensors so we converted the joystic touch activator (originally used in Oculus touch controllers) to joystick tilt.

You can perfrom a physical jump (I recommend it because is very immersive) or tilt and release the right thumbstick quickly to jump. The quick tilt is not being muted.

About the saving profiles issue, we will check it. Thank you for the report.

Offtopic: I was playing a few hours to Half Life :Alyx since we received this headset and I LOVE the sharpness of the screen. Its amazing.

Have you tried the buttonless activator? The gesture is putting the hands down the hip to start, then it's enabled until you stop moving the arms or when you lift them.

Fresh g2 owner and natural loco owner here! Loving both!
hey, i have just tried that buttonless option in alyx and have a question:

when you interact with something on hip height, sometimes it registers as handswinging, moving you a tiny amount! Could you put in a "sensitivity" option for the hand swinging? So it doesnt pick up a slight movement from one hand and move you?
