It seems WalkOVR is a great alternative to KatVR... similar concept, but different way of knowing where the different nodes are. Any chance you guys will look into this?
In other words, I want to walk in the treadmill, and every time I move my foot backwards in contact with the surface, have NALO move me forward.
I've tried strapping into the Omni, but with the trackers on I still have to march in place, and yes, that's with room filter off (and on, tried it both ways I believe. It's been a while).
You guys could revolutionize Trackers+Omni and may be even become an OEM driver!
Willing to work for code :)

We are now working in a new locomotion mode: Swinging feet (like hands but with feet) it could work with Omni!
We hope it can be released for the next week.
One can hope in time for HL Alyx! But next week sounds great in any event. I still haven't finished Skyrim or Fallout :)
Let me know if you need the input from the ring. They released the low level code so I could give you a driver that would help calculate front/backwards movement. I mean, I'm sure you can get the code too, just not sure if you have an Omni, I forget.
