Our best hope is that some day when getting ready to move to another Engine for the next Arcade Game they do what they did here and try to squeeze out a bit more cash out of the old one and make a second game. Again due to poor sales for this one though the odds are not good.
It wasn't finished, it was abandoned. The Big Bang Mission was announced globally alongside the graphical update and then Bandai removed the trailer like it never happened.
I am also going to need some citations on that new engine and the alleged poor sales figures.
Ehm... No. That's not how that works. You were the one that made the claims of poor sales figures and the arcade getting a new engine. The burden of proof falls on you.
And if the trailer wasn't removed, then how come I can only find short card/story showcases of a similar time frame on other Youtubers' channels and neither Nintendo nor Bandai Namco have the English trailers up anymore?
None of what you said is proof that the new stuff is arcade only either. Specially since again, there was at one point an English trailer talking about the new changes, none of which mentioned the update taking a while due to the change to a new engine, as is costumary for developers to highlight somewhere that that is going to be the case.
Not to mention that making such a big change and relegating it to arcade only while ignoring the home versions would be completely illogical.
Who is the one that trying to make petition? Is it nobalkain? No, its you. The one that make petition are the one who should give a proof that they are right if someone said its wrong. Its not nobalkain that should give you citation, it was you who need to give citation to tell us that you are right.
Someone who create a petition should do a research first to get some proof that support the petition, you clearly doing 0 research.
1. You said they ignoring the home versions? The very first time This title exist, it was an arcade game, the arcade IS the home/original version. The one in Steam (and some 3DS game too) is adaptation from it.
2. Did you know the short anime for this game? From the very first time it exist, or i should say back when it still a trailer, they made it very clear that it was a promotional anime for the ARCADE GAME.
3. The trailer itself are never removed, even with a minute of google search i could find it. It just the trailer you mentioned about the "update" for this game are never existed. You just confusing a trailer for the arcade as the update for this game.
and for nobalkain, you are wrong about 1 thing though, about the sales number. Its not poor sales, its pretty normal and decent, thats why there is some adaptation for the arcade game in 3ds and steam. If it was poor, it won't continue for this long.
Now back to OP. There is a chances we get another Heroes titles that have more updated cards. BUT that chances are getting lower with each false accusation you gave. Think about it a little, what will the dev think if they somehow see your false accusation? You gave a big bad impression to them, giving us less chances of getting another game with updated cards.
???? So, the other feller provided unsubstantiated claims, but because I am the one who started the petition, I have to back them up? That makes about as much sense as using a nail to stick a hammer on wood. I said my piece in my replies to him, you'd have understood what I said if you actually read it.
I am well aware the original is an arcade release, I waited 10 years for the game to be available internationally so I could play it. Also, you yourself acknowledged that I mentioned a home version, so I am wondering why you felt the necessity to explain to me what an adaptation of an arcade game is. Again if you had actually read what I wrote, you'd understand that what I meant with ignoring the home versions is that while the arcade version is still being updated in Japan, the home ports haven't gotten updates since 2019, so really, that's a non point.
The only instance I found that mentioned that the anime was a promotion for the arcade game specifically was on Reddit, and that's about as reliable a source of information as a parrot with a hearing deficiancy. Every other place just mentions it being a promotional anime for DB Heroes the series. Not to mention that the advertisements at the end of the first couple episodes, up until the last update of 2019, showed content that was available both in the arcade and the console ports.
Then by all means, show me the link. If it wasn't removed, then explain to me how I can go and find links to specific things like the anime shorts to promote the story or short trailers showing new cards or comparing character appereances of the old graphics vs the new ones but not the trailer that revealed the new graphics with ssj Goku fighting Frieza and whole bunch of other characters, announcing that there was going to be a big graphical overhaul. I don't recall if Big Bang Mission was announced in the same trailer or shortly after it, but I recall that it was during that time frame. Usually, it's the other way around. As in it's easy to find a trailer showing general info of something big, and not so much stuff that dives into specifics.
I also can't help but adore your prespoterous insinuation that the developers/publishers have such a demonstrably fragile ego that all it takes for the chances of an update to a game/entry in a new series being made to greatly diminish is some nobody making a petition online about a game he cares about. A petition that no one has yet to sign mind you.
It irks me that you'd call my claim of the game being abandoned as a false accusation. Like I mentioned in the promotional anime segment, both versions of the game were equal up to a point. Yet that stopped being the case since 2019. Meanwhile Japan continues to receive updates, including but not limited to, cards based on the new Super Hero movie. Wether those are only in the Arcade or not is irrelevant, since again, both versions were equal at one point.
What's more, that ignores the fact that it is by no means unprecedented for games released under Bandai Namco's flag to just straight up have things missing in the western versions of games, and two examples I can give are actually from Dragon Ball:
Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butouden received an update adding assists based on the Universe 6 team of the Universe 7 Vs 6 arc as well as the stage they fought, but such update didn't come to the western version of the game.
Dragon Ball Fusions had a feature that allowed players to scan QR codes to unlock exclusive fused characters as well as extra goodies like clothes and such. Such a feature isn't present in the western release however, even though said exclusive characters (future Gohanks, Tanks etc) are fully translated and even show up as enemies in the game. Certain youtubers even managed to edit their save files to siphon those characters from a japanese copy onto an international company with no issues. On top of that, the japanese version allows players to acquire the costumes of the EX fusions for use with the custom character, which is also not possible in the international version.
I already explained that they will not Update this Game because everything after is on a New Arcade Engine since. They would have to make every Card from scratch just for this Version, and that would just be stupid.
Its not going to happen. Your best bet is to hope they make a new Home Version again in the Future, though the odds for an International Release are not good due to poor Sales outside of Japan. Reality is not going to change just because I dont provide the proof you want.
I mentioned that stuff already, you're not adding anything new by reitirating that.
And likewise I won't believe your words at face value anymore than I did the first time just because you said them a second time, nor will I entertain the same silly explanation that implies that the content would have to be made again just to release it on a different part of the world, even though it's finished and would only require translation.
You really love Closing your Eyes and Ears when something you dont want to accept is right in front of you. Again ignoring Reality wont change just because you dont like it. Continue to waist your time though, its no skin off my back if you fail.
And you really love to operate under the notion that I started the petition because I believe that an update happening is an immutable fact.
I am well aware that the chances of it happening are incredibly small, specially considering Bandai Namco's track record, but that doesn't mean I can't try to do something about it.
Also, I am gonna be that guy and say that it's "waste" and not "waist". You've made it a point of reiterating the same things more than once and didn't notice that mistake either time.
And you keep ignoring the Fact that there was never an Update Planned for the Home Version, even though two people have told you this. There is not even further Updates for the Japanese Version of the Home Game as well. Other then some exclusive Portable Versions and this one there is only the Arcade Version. They only make Home Versions as promotion for the Arcade Version, because it makes way more Money due to Physical Card Pack Sales. The Fact that you either dont know this, or ignore it, just makes you look like a
and WOW.
The one you mentioned was
You mentioned that it was a promotion for the arcade ONLY on reddit, yet you claimed you have mentioned the same thing like nobalkain said, which clearly said it was on the short anime start and ending that you NEVER mentioned in the first place??[/quote]
Because normally, when someone called a home version, it was about the original version. How am i supposed to know that you have your own definition of "home" version?
Well yeah, just like the 3DS version were equal up to a point until it stopped giving update and giving a new 3DS game for a newer one. They always stop having an update at one point and giving a brand new game for the newer update.
Well since now its clear that you are just lazy, a complete 180 from normal people who do petition which would do a lot of research first to proof that their petition is right. I will give the link which i found in less than a minute.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgF_Hm4QtwA
This one is the very first Big Bang Mission trailer plus 10 years anniversary, they never said it was for the steam/console version.
And in the next Big Bang Mission trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJHhQbNOZbM
It was very clear that it was a trailer for arcade. Hence having "0/1 Coin" is some of the trailer. This is the one who mentioned all the big updates.
None of them every said steam/console would get the same update. You most likely look at it, assumed steam version would get the same update even though, they never mentioned anything about it. Yet now you trying to said they mentioned about the "home" version update. Hence its false accusation.
I'm never saying they will stopped giving a new game just because you giving a false accusation and went far enough with it into petition. All i said it give smaller chances for us getting a new game. Sure 1-10 person won't became a big deal, but if everyone have the same logic as that and started doing the same, it will became big enough until it reach the dev and will showed that global fans are the worst. Hence i said your false accusation giving a smaller chances. Even if its only 0.1% lower, it was still a smaller chances.
