I agree, Xenoverse is much too shiny and plastic-y. Not trying to bash the game, but I prefer simplicity or a more cartoony vibe.
You get used to it, though; what bothers me more is the lack of variety in the standard battle animations. Some of them are kinda neat, making the fact that most of them are just that freakin' uppercut all the more disappointing.
i like a lot the animations, but sometime they are too much repeated
punch-kick-kick-uppercut for melee
ki blast-go up-another ki blast for range
ik its not the only ones, but like 85% of time, its those we see
tbh with all the SA and double/triple mode atk, freeze atk and all,i wished they would've ad like 2-3 more animations ofr the base attacks
Yeah, because when people are talking about updated models and better graphics they're talking about hyper-realism when it regards anime games, lol.
Models might have been increased in resolution, but it's still the same ones from the Budokai games.
It's embarrasing they're charging so much money for a rehash.
If I wanted to use imagination I would just go play Dungeons and Dragons.
