SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION

SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION

Wonky controls and mechanics
So I have two complaints about this game (otherwise I'm enjoying it)

1) I have this on the switch and the gimmicky swiping, spinning of the sticks and timed button presses just seem COMPLETELY unnecessary and are only there to try to promote player interaction. The card game SEEMS like it could be good enough on its own but that leads me to number 2...

2) I see all these abilities and card interactions for every card but I don't see any way to find out what these are during a match and you only have 30 seconds to make your selection before each round of combat. Am I missing something here, or are you just supposed to memorize each card and exactly how they behave and interact with each other and the flow of a match?

Use mouse for spinning and other gimmicks and you're mean't to understand how your deck works

Maybe you missed it in my post, but I have this game for the Switch. That's unfortunate about the deck management. There are literally thousands of cards in this game and one of the great things about card games is experimenting with the different cards you come across and their combinations. Memorizing all the abilities to use in the heat of battle with no way to reference, is bad design. I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment out of this game, but there are better digital card games out there.

if you have it for switch, there's switch forums like gamefaqs and stuff, this is mostly for PC discussion, I would have said the same thing, mouse makes controls feel insanely fluid.

Hey, to each their own. I haven't come across a card game yet that is has no micro transactions and about same amount of offline content as Elder Scrolls game. Also, it's not that hard once you build a deck because after you build a deck you are meant to know how your deck works

it has way more content than an unmodded elder scrolls title, in fact, it even beats modded for me in play time, been playing since original and still not anywhere close to finished. can't wait for next update when uvm 5 drops.

Modded TES has nearly limitless content since we keep getting quality quest mods, but okay

I said in play time, not content wise. I'm aware. fallout/tes titles have a lot of mods; but only title I'm playing there right now is fallout 76, dropped all other tes/fo titles for that, and the roadmap is promising.

you can just pause the game and look at your cards and effects while in battle

I'm not really into FO, just TES. And we also have ESO which had rough launch, but became best Fantasy MMO RPG we have right now

WHAT! This is precisely why I asked the question! I'll have to go look that up.

To everyone else, I think you're getting a little off topic. I never said this was a bad game (the opposite actually). It does have a lot of content and I feel there is a lot to be had here. I just feel like the forced player interaction is unnecessary and I want to be able to check my card abilities in a match (which apparently you can do).
