Its because that goes against the Voice Actors Guild. Your not allowed to just reuse Voices from previous Media. Unless there are rare circumstances they have to hire them again, even if its them just saying the same lines again. This was implemented so Companies dont abuse what you want them to do and the Voice Actors can continue to make a living.
I feel like they only released this game for Japanese audiences and then though 'well since we have it now we might as well release in US/EU and see if we can score some extra bucks'.
The game has a lot of aspects like this that feel extremely unpolished for non-Japanese people.
This being said, I had my 20 hours of confusing fun with it on Switch and I guess that's what most people will get out of this game unless you are really a die hard fan.
Well yeah, thats how most Japanese Games are done. They make it for them because they are Japanese. Thats what happens when you buy Entertainment made by another Culture. I like that aspect of Entertainment from Japan. It made me learn about their Culture in order to understand a lot of what is going on most of the time.
Ah that makes sense thanks for sharing that yeah that kinda is shame that it could happen that way wounder if they could trade mark there voices so they can keep making money upon request of there voice lines carrying over to other games kinda like music in movies and what not?.
perhaps that could work? nether the less i'm sure i'm not the only one who would like an option at least to have English or or Japanese voices its always nice to have options and specially for though who would struggle with reading no less such as myself its a blessing to just lay back and relax and listen instead of struggling with reading and what not.
Anyways again thanks for the replay :)
Yeah I agree. I know some get upset at the idea of a Dub, but I also have Vision Issues that make Action Games with only Subs, like Warrior Games, hard for me to follow in the heat of Combat so I understand how it can be a big help to have Dubs.
It always boils down to Cost as its cheaper to just do Subs. This Game was made on the cheap and was an experiment to see if it would be successful outside of Japan. Sadly it was not.
Its good to see a level headed person that sees eye to eye i'm always open to everyone having what they like or need in some cases ours happens to fall under the need part unfortunately but not much you can do about that.
