is this game worth buying now?

i'm interested to buy this game now since there is a sale. But i want to know is this game still worth it since it's been a while since this game out. Is the online still alive ? are there updates? is the update also include additional story or just cards? any suggestion or input are deeply appreciated. thanks.

Online is only alive on Nintendo Switch.

PC is very dead unless you don't care for Online Battles. Check my Review on the game.

I did mention only get PC version if you cannot afford a Nintendo Switch.

Besides that PC is ONLY for Story Only.

I highly suggest taking Ruri Kurosaki advice though! :)

That's not true, there's features in this game people aren't bothering to talk about. What about card creation? Mission creation? Custom Missions? i've had some fun on good custom missions.

That's not true, there's features in this game people aren't bothering to talk about. What about card creation? Mission creation? Custom Missions? i've had some fun on good custom missions.

Those are just small features besides think about it though what the biggest factor in Hero world mission? Online Battles + Events. Of course getting more added cards.

Custom Mission in my opinion if you need them for Farming Accessories or want others to check
out your mission.

Card Creations have it kinks but i was just talking about the big facts why Switch Version is more
"Alive" then the PC Version is ever going to be now.

You do have to admit The Population of PC Hero World Mission like a graveyard.

The custom missions are what keep the game going for me... Switch still has thousands of missions made a day, PC has like... at most 12? Also on Switch: less than 30 seconds to find a PvP partner. on PC ? 2 hours if you're lucky. not enough people to fill the skill ranges, and the ones on aren't playing pvp.

Not the company's fault, but the fact there's no cross-play does hinder performance. Thing is, giving cross play with Switch is almost an unfair advantage due to the touch screen though for PvP and quick bonus... Can't really win here... It's just too bad it wasn't more popular on Steam because it's every DB fan's wet dream with all the characters.

I like this game and I find the most alive parts of online are custom missions.

I only bought it on pc cause i got it for 24 bucks. To anser the original question though, yes. The game does get content updates

That it does. I think they center around that online shows time as well sometimes. At least thats the last thing I heard as the show was like sponsoring this games story/the arcade game if I remember. Its been a minute.

i do play the game semi-regularly, i just dont go pvp because i suck :C

i am mostly trying to create my own cards really, and i dont know if you can use these in pvp, can you?

You can't use custom cards in PVP but you can use them in other places though. Like Custom Missions, Arcade Mode(haven't tried this myself) but i dont think you can for Arcade, and regular Extra Mission.
