Need help with some questions about the avatars

So, I'm thinking on buying this game, but there is something that is bugging be and I can't understand exactly about the avatars. I saw some videos the start of the game, and even though you can change you card avatar (which has saiyans, frieza race, supreme kai, etc) you lobby character is the male saiyan guy. So I have 2 questions:

1- If I choose the frieza one, my avatar that will run around the lobby area will still be the male saiyan guy?

2- I also saw a video showing images that every race has 3 avatar options (example: 3 male saiyan 3 female saiyans 3 frieza race etc), but on the other videos showing the start of the game it didn't had this option at all. It really exists? Or races have only 1 option?

1. The Hero Avatar is the Game Avatar of the protagonist of the game (you). In the "real world", you'll be the base human design the game introduces at the start of the game and you can never change that. Inside SDBH game (in the Story Mode) and during matches using your Avatar, he will be reflective of the race you chose/use (a Super Shenron wish allows you to change races if you don't like the one you have).

2. The design of your Hero Avatar will change depending on the type of card you make it : either Hero (HR), Elite (EL) or Berserker (BS). You unlock Elite and Berserker option for customization after a certain level threshold (I think it's Lv7 for EL, 15 for BS).

I see. Thanks for the info. One last question then. If I choose, let's say, a female saiyan, the name I choose at the start for the human guy, will also reflect on my female saiyan, for example? Or your real world avatar can also be female? Thanks!

The name you choose is basically the name of your character so yeah, it'll be used for both the protagonist and your avatar. You can choose the Female Sayian Race but I don't think the protagonist can be a girl outside of his avatar choice.

Also, if I remember correctly, the Elite version of the Android and Demon Race and the Berserker version of the Kai Race are females.

the 3 changeling forms

hero: the basic freeza, untransformed -> aka namek sage

elite : -> the fully evolved freeza at 1% power -> the form he fights goku till after super saiyan
transformation in freeza saga

berserker: the mecha freeza version-> freezas revenge: alot of metal chizzle and stuff

as a bonus for your info, theres a wish that lets u class up(people suggest getting to level 50 first) and i think u can class up 4 or 5 times, this changes the look of your hero avatar in the game world(ex.. frieza race gets golden form after 3rd class up, saiyans become ssj god then ssj blue, an other races get pretty cool looking outfits and whatnot) the game is worth the 60 bucks in my opinion. if u get it on switch let me know.

Cannot chage the avatar even with hex editing the save files?

I am pretty sure he is basing this info off the Arcade Game. We never got the Update to the Game that added God Mode or Higher. A lot of people that dont own this Game get it confused with the later Arcade Versions.
