SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION

SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION

Does this game's story mode include the plot of the Japan-only 3DS DB Heroes games?
Or does it jump straight to the last saga, expecting the player to have at least read a plot summary?

you have all the arcade missions from across the ages, and then you obviously start in super dragon ball heroes/Universe Mission during story arcs. You need knowledge of: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Super, the movies, Xenoverse, and the previous Heroes arcs.

So I'm expected to have played the 3DS games (which, remember, are only available in Japanese) to understand the plot of this game? What a shame, I'll have to pass unless there's a plot summary in-game (apparently not)

Bro, the plot matters so little here.It is an excuse plot for multiverse hijinx. It is a damn good card game

Believe it or not, I would be extremely confused without a proper plot summary of at least the "Dark Demon Realm", "Dark Empire", "Prison Planet", "Dark King Mechikabura" and "Universal Conflict" Sagas. Are these five included in this game in any way, even as a text glossary?

I can't speak for all of them since i've not tried arcade mode yet, but the first time I activated arcade mode I got a text glossery from the off about the start of one of them, not sure which, or which order it is in. Don't know if it's every time, or if there is more in the arcade mode sections itself.

As for if the plot of story mode makes sense, as I've said i have not played Arcade mode and story seems to make sense so far, only question you might have is from the start cutsecne and go "who the f is this guy?" but it's explained later on. It does not look like you need a summery of the previous arcs to play story.

A quick side note here: Arcade and Story seem to be two sperate things at least from what i've seen. Story mode seems to be fairly self contained while Arcade mode has the sagas you list, though I do not know if those sagas come with plot summeries aside from the intro one.

what i don't like at all is that a few arcade god bosses r almost impossible to beat widhout "hero of japan" module unles u win every CI.
All I know are the stories of Dragon Ball Z, Super and some of GT. I don't know what any of this Demon or Xeno stuff is and I'm still having a fun time with the single player. Multi player....not so much.
Uhm. the plot in this game is DIFFERENT from DBH in total... in DBH Hero and Heroine are THROWN into the game by chanze and then CONTINUE to help the chars beat basicaly stronger versions of the already powerfull foes (thou i doubt that Hero + Goku could survive against LSSJ broly for long without the aid of at least one SSJ3 capable char with them (Yes broly back then WAS that strong, sadly he didnt beat Gogeta the way DB B3's intro showed (Yes Gogeta and Broly are EQUAL!)

Here thou, its a card game with fracking TRUNKS from XENOVERSE Thrown into whats basicaly the "real world" with a pseudo VR game called DBH, because another FOE actualy made it into Corona's palace and trunks was AGAIN unable to prevent anything realy.... He might be the coolest char in the entire DB universe, yet he is also 90% of the time as useless as kuririn...

Oh and to sum it up : You dont need to know DB at all sadly.. shure it helps to get some more insight yet not realy needed. This game provides you with 100% of the intell you need to actualy get into the story and maybe even enjoy it.

PS: This game is MENT to be played in MP, not SP. SP is just more or less "preperation" for MP. If that woudlnt be the case then i would encounter RANDOM stuff in Turnaments against AI and could have RANDOM battles in SP.
