Beat maid but never got Scythe Dancer

I think I killed the maid too fast my first try (through a combo of reaction shots, back attacks, and general destruction) I was able to kill her in just 2 turns. The scythe dancer never came into my party, and as such, I cannot unlock them going forward in this cycle. I have yet to test to see if I can unlock her on subsequent passes. Is this a known bug?

I think you get her on boss 50% ( second phase ) but maybe if you stop the boss from entering in her second pahse you might misss it XD. YOU DON"T NEED HER ANYWAYS XD Jk

Just did the same thing as OP. I was able to reaction shots with backstabs and whatnot to combo her from about 30% hp.

Didn't get Scythe Dancer or the level 10 mastery recruitment.

You can still unlock her if you start a new recollection. I had to do it once.

You need to allow her to take her natural turn when she gets low'ish like 20-30% or something.

This just happened to me. I actually beat the game without ever unlocking the scythedancer. I kept waiting for it to unlock but once I finally beat the game and still didn't have it I decided to look it up.

Shadow Rounds + Menacing Stance is OP apparently. Really it should unlock if you beat her even if you skip a phase.

i didn't even know sycthedancer existed until i was looking at the wiki, i've killed the maid 4 times and never unlocked her. I always combo shadow rounds and menacing then just use slam over and over with my sheildbearer

Do like play me, unoptimized with one character of each class (usually two soulslingers when 4 daughters are allowed) with different abilities on each daughter (as i had two of each classes)
And then, you can be slow enough to unlock it xD
