can't put casting reel on universal rod???

when i try to put a casting reel on one of my universal rods says not compatible, can it not use or do i need a casting rod?

You can't. Casting reels are compatible only with casting rods.

How come there isn’t a matching casting rod to go with the best casting reel? All the casting rods are very weak compared to the reels
