The problem with VIP.

I knew this would happen,already getting bored because everything is unlocked. Same thing happened in Fishing sim world when I was catching 15lbs BASS after only playing for 30 min.

We as gamers need that carrott on a stick, something to work towards, a goal or we feel like we are wasting are time, we feel like we have done everything and playing now is kind of pointless.

I don't know what can be done, maybe something with tournaments every day or special events something to keep the player base engaged. This is why people quit MMO's at end game, nothing more to do.

It's a fishing game, you catch fish, I get it, but there has to be some sort of incentive attached. Just my opinion.

if you win several times the same tournaments, what will you do with your fishing rods?

and zero point if have nothing, for the moment if you are registered and nobody takes fish, the first 3 registered wins a cup ...

I thought about it for days before I did because of this reason. I also wanted to give the developers some money for their hard work because I'm not a scrub. I'm only trying to give some ideas and I hope others will to that could make the game a little more engaging. Nothing wrong with that.

I believe even everyone that went VIP and maxed everything by now will have more things to hold interest as the game evolves. I'm in the same boat bro!

What I do is make challenges for myself. I go on expeditions to discover new fishing holes. I rarely ever visit VIP area anymore just to make it mor eof a challenge. I keep a large bit of cash in reserve for when that next cool thing is released and I just have to have it.

Go out and try to fill a 100kg net with Grayling or Bleak only. That's a challenge.
Try to catch every fish the game has to offer (personal stats would help, but it can be managed).

Yeah if you want a long road then just don't buy VIP. If you want to support devs then have your VIP account for that and create a seperate steam account that is non-VIP for the long road.

Add some personal challenges as well. Some things I do in all fishing games I play once I reach the top is things like:

- Biggest fish per hook size per lake
- Biggest fish on very light line per lake
- Best total weight in 30min real time per lake
- Best per lake using only artificial baits
- Best per lake using only natural baits

Things like that , and I always make a seperate board for every lake. That increases the challenge. You can even break it up further into per species as well.
Drawback with that is it takes some manual admin on your own part by creating some excell sheets for each section of records and having a note pad handy while you play to jod down your scores etc.
