How the hell do I get there? Explain it to me like I'm a 6 year old because I could get lost in a phone booth.

follow the path until you get to the bend that goes opposite way, at that point go offroad towards the lake, you should eventually see a fence that says private or something, that is basically the vip area, just find the gate entrance and your in, then follow the path

I had a HARD time to get to it myself too, I think if ya VIP you should be able to spawn at the special lake.

I am confused as to why it is so far to walk. Litterally as far from the spawn point as possible

This is the worst lake IMHO.
The actual fishing area (the part of the map with water) is tiny in comparison to the other maps.
The fishing is horrible in all but maybe two or three places, not including the VIP area. which is also another let down as far as where in it you can catch fish.

I am confident the devs will make a QOL pass on it soon.

Remember, when the first wave of VIPs run out from the DLC bundle, the third and fourth lakes will probably be quite void of traffic, for the most part.
