Yes but with Groundfishing please and not with Float. I dont know anyone, who goes fishing on Catfish or Carp with Float :)

most catfish anglers on a river use a mix between float and groundfishing

in the US we rarely use ground bait or "chum".

We use hook and line with weights for bottom fishing, or floats for depth precision. We also sometimes use no weight or float and let the bait fall or float as it pleases. There are also guys that fish only trot lines or jugs/limb lines, or hoggers/noodlers that use only hands. Catfishing is very diverse and taken seriously here, and i'd like to see that in the game.
