Maybe it's linked to only one of the in-game achievement but I could not match any of them to be "cosmic". Or it's an achievement which unlocks after completing all the in-game achievements? Only 0.1% steam players have unlocked it, so it's not going to be easy either way but I would like to hear what the devs say without shooting in the dark. But they seem to have abandoned the steam discussion, even though they post regular update for the game.

Winning with some particular cards with a specific avatar could be a possibility. Unfortunately I am new to the game and I don't want to spend money on microtransactions to buy avatars, so I can't test that theory. But typing in chat after winning is highly unlikely imo.

Well I found out how to get it I guess. Some veteran players told me that you have to get the Golden Alfonso avatar to get this cheevo. And it only drops as the first prize from invitational tournaments. And even then it is not guaranteed, as other golden avatars can drop as well. Apparently only one player has this avatar/achievement so far.

Interesting. I looked at the entire list of existing avatars for HD Poker, and there is no golden Alfonso, just the regular (green level) one. So, are they pulling our leg on that?

Or are there 'goldens' for all? At any rate I'll keep a look-out for it.

No these are invite only tourneys for top ranked players/players with large sum of money (10B+). The recruitment happens mostly in discord from what I can tell. And yes the avatars are not listed in the game. These are non-tradeable special avatars given only to the winner of the Invitational Tournament. I saw some myself. You can join the discord server to check them out for yourself.

Achievements like that are just disgusting, so you have to get invited to a special event, win it, then let RNG take the wheel and hope you get a specific item. Can't stand achievements that aren't purely based off of skill alone.

Well, it is achievable but you have to be really, really, REALLY committed to the game and be an active part of the community which to be fair is the case with some of the games out there

Got the achievement somehow. Not exactly sure how though.
I was playing on a standard 10M-20M buy-in table and as soon as I won a hand the achievement unlocked for me. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the map as you can see in the screenshot. Unfortunately I don't know the name of it.

EDIT: Map name is "Arcane"

EDIT #2: Okay, I can confirm. To get this achievement you have to play as "Alfonso" on the map "Arcane" and win a hand. After you win the achievement pops up.

Just got the 'Its Cosmic!' achievement - was in an 'Arcane' room in my Alphonso outfit, and I won with 2 pair. ( and came here to confirm & see the achievement )

Sorry, could someone explain to me how to get the Alfonso avatar? Do I just open chests until I get it or is there an easier way?
