Most everything is a joke. I think all the new updates added improved bots. You can spot them by they taking max time every turn to play and constantly tip the dealers. The game does give you ways to make chips, so if you enjoy it then play it, but don't even consider it to be 'real' poker play.

I've also noticed that if you use the same amount tickets to spend the wheel back to back its almost a promise your going to get the same exact amount back to back. I tested my theory and sure enough my 1st spin , 2nd spin and 3rd spin was all exactly $100,000. so I don't get what the point is spinning this " Wheel " that HD claims to be fair..

I have been playing this game for years and I can't remember a single time I have spun the wheel and not gotten the lowest amount possible. It's free chips, so I can't complain, but, yeah, I don't think the odds are very good to ever get more than the minimum.
