where is the option to type in code on the android platform? I found it once but cant seem to find it now.

For mobile - make sure the app is closed. Then click the link next to the free item message in the post (linktr.ee/hdpoker) to go to linktree, auto-launch the game from the recent promo link, and redeem your promo!
