The Track Laying in this game is far better, and along the lines of Railroad Tycoon/Sid Meier's RAILROADS! (which was the best way, however those games are different kinds of games. RRTC is a TRAIN game, and Railroad Corp. is a TRAIN game, where Railway Empire is a Trading Game using Trains.)
This game allows a nice map, not the largest, which I would personally prefer, however it's Train system of how cargo is done and how it works overall with track laying and signals is SOOO much better than other current Railroad games on the market.
I have not played Transport Fever games at all so I can't comment towards them.
It is worth picking up then.
Thanks.
1. transport fever 2
2. railway empire
3. railroad corporation.
i find the u.i of this game severely lacking.
