Bad Video Quality During Editing

why is the video quality so poor when i'm in editor? if a try to edit a 1080p video, on the editor the video seems to be a 420p video, when I export the video with the edits the video seems fine, but its annoying to edit a video with a bad quality preview

Hello! The resolution of photos and videos within the preview zone of Video Editor is specifically lowered in order to save computer resources. When you export your project to video, these photos and videos will have the original high resolution quality.

but isn't there a way to make the resolution at least a little bit better? it is almost impossible to do any good video editing since what I am looking for is to edit just some details of the image; with the resolution that the application leave the video it is impossible to see these details until I export the file

Unfortunately, Movavi Video Suite 17 does not have the option to change the video quality in the preview window.
However, Movavi Video Suite 20/21 has the ability to enable high-resolution previews if the user's PC has enough performance to play back video fragments in their original resolution.
