Too bad

If only this game wasn't so manual! You havfta replace everything instead of it automatically regrowing. You should be able to sit back and enjoying the game. If only it was like Venture Africa, it'd appeal to me too.

That was probably my biggest issue with Venture Arctic. It's such a chore to place plants/plankton/ice/sunlight and gather souls that you can't sit back and enjoy the wildlife. Plus it takes away from the immersion that plants can't breed and always have to be placed manually.

At least in Venture Africa, plants can regrow when eaten but the downside to that was you can't remove or move them. Once placed, they're stuck there for good (not to mention the annoying jewel system).

If it wasn't for those few things though, Wildlife Tycoon would probably be one of the best ecosystem games ever, even better than Tyto!
