As much as we would love to put everything on sale for the final weeks of the games availability, we can't really do so as not all platforms can be discounted the same way and it wouldn't be fair for all gamers. (We would get just as much unhappy email and comments from players who see the discount on steam but not on the platform of their choice).

IMHO, should not made any announcements about winding down in the first place, and that would be less an unhappy email & comments from players.

and for others, instead of demanding for final sale, should show some appreciations that they announced it,
if it worth your price, just buy and get it while you can

It´s amazing how stupid some IP owners are, the last Friday the 13th movie was made in 2009, anyone born beyond the 70s-80s probably doesn´t have much nostalgia for the first installements of the series neither the latter since they are really bad. And then there was the other multiplayer game that, like all multiplayer games, it had it´s moment and then dissapeared.

COnsidering all this, it´s simply not favorable for the brand to eliminate the very few Friday the 13th things still out there. Spècially considering this game, like seriously, how will it hurt in any way the brand that they needed to revocate the rights to mainting this small puzzle game??? I don´t remeber if Friday the 13th belonged to Paramount of Warner Bros or who, but whomever they are, not very smart people (if it´s Warner Bros... yeah, it checks, that company is runned by untrained monkeys).

Thanks for letting us know Blue Wizard, you made an extremelly funny game with a small premise that really worked like a charm. Perhaps we can get a "sequel" with different assasins that all ressemble and act like movie classic villains but are distinguis enough that no IP is really needed? WHatever happens, best of luck and thanks for the game. It trully is a one of a kind experience.

Yes, I believe adding it to your library should allow you to continue playing it once it comes down. Valve has assured us that people who own the game will continue to have the ability to purchase the DLC from the in-game store, even after it comes down. The first 8 movies will remain free / unlockable by progress, but the bonus 4 DLC level packs will still require purchase to be able to play them.

Thank God the DLCs will still be avilible to purchase. BUT THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FACT THAT THIS GAME IS GOING DOWN SUCKS

They said they were making them no longer visible to Steam, meaning you just won't be able to purchase from the Store page. However I only see the lootboxes in the Mama's Megamart and when you select it, it opens the steam prompt to make an in-game purchase which seems fine. When I try to buy Episode #9 from the in-game shop, Steam opens an overlay with the shopping cart and the Episode #9 is already in my cart as a DLC(!), not as in-app purchase!

After I agreed to purchase that weapon crate, Steam opened an overlay again, but notice the difference between an actual in-app purchase and purchase of DLC via in-game overlay from screenshot #4 (the obvious difference is that there's no additional elements like the friends tab, and also notice the name of tab, it is said "purchase" and there's even my login displayed, but when I tried to purchase Episode 9, it was a regular steam shopping cart)

That's why I think that no one will be able to purchase Episodes from the in-game shop after January 23rd, because the devs didn't actually made episodes into real in-app purchase items, despite naming them like that... But I think it is possible to actually remove the base game from sale (even if its free) and leave the DLC available for purchase, so maybe they will do that, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Okay, that makes sense then. I wasn't able to see any of that since I already own all the DLC content...so my Mama's Megamart is pretty bare bones with only Lootboxes being available.

horror themed, i have friends who stay away from it due to that
there not into anything horror based or themed
its a horror themed puzzle game since its basically your killing folks in the puzzles

It's puzzle game, something like Sokoban (maybe you played that before?), but with a slightly different mechanics, like you can't move 1 square in any of the 4 directions, instead you move in lines, till you hit the wall and stop to change the direction of your next move, and there's no crates.

iI even played it on my phone. It's very unfortunate that this would happen. I would love to buy everything in the game, but I can't pay for it. Goodbye.
