Is a E-sail 2 in dev ?

I want to buy this game for weeks now, after trying it with a friend. The feeling of the boat is really nice, but I can't buy it now. I'm sorry but the graphics looks so old. Is a E-sail 2 in dev or something ? If yes I will wait for it. If not, well I'm still not sure to buy it. It's sad because the game look really nice but the graphic really.... The game seems to have a huge potential, and I'm sure that with better graphic it would attract more people like me.

I don't want to be rude or anything, I know it's a small team and I wouldn't be able to do anythung they did. I'm just expressing my honest feeling as a potential player of this game.

Esail 2 was released some time ago. We are doing an update now though. Could you let me know what part of the graphics you think is priority to improve- I might be able do something. Perhaps also you could let me know what images or video you are looking at - they might be old or at a low quality setting.

The game has a very large load on the computer due to physics calculations. If there are also graphics, the computer will explode.

I guess it depends on your computer. I have an older I-7 7700K with a couple year old 3080 12GB and the game barely even breaks a sweat.

But when a search E-sail 2 I don’t find anything.
Did you do like an update to the game ?

For me the worst part for the graphic is the coast. But what I mean is the texture mainly. Like if it’s possible to have more details texture it would be really but really great I think. You know not like a Triple A game but like those game were you can spend some time to just look around and enjoying it or even takes some screenshot

Esail 2 is just the current version. Everybody automatically got it. Regarding graphics we did improve the boat, but the scenery has admittedly not been a priority. The new islands added in V2 North to Navaronne used a different technique which gives beter resullts I think. So at some stage we will upgrade all scenery to the same. But in the meantime I’m afraid it’s sailing and not scenery which is the priority.

There is more important issue than scenery. Like for instance making the game full screen as it is not. I can move my mouse from my big 80 inch 4 K screen to a second, smaller, screen. Not having the game in full screen creates all kind of artifacts, especially if you use windows built-in scaling. Arrows no longer point to the correct icons etc. I also so wish we could have a couple more audio sliders in order to control - for instance - the sound of the waves against the boat (it is SO loud on my sound system - if I turn the ambiance down then I loose the wind etc... no immersion anymore).
