What are the golden cards?

When I'm selecting options to start a new game, on one of the last screens before starting, on the right-hand side of the screen are some golden tickets or cards and an on/off switch. What the heck is this? There really isn't a manual that I can find, or much in the way of instructions, other than the basic Clue instructions, and no mention that I can find of what this option is for. I guess I could just turn it on, play, and see what happens. Does anyone out there know what this is for?

OK, turning that option on seems to initiate some sort of easy/hint/cheat mode. It still seems sort of weird to release a game with no manual, yet have options that are left unexplained.

Heya, I just noticed it and I dragged my left mouse button over it, holding it down once I click it and then dragged it upwards to let go once the indicator had moved, it doesn't light up or anything, you jsut see it slide up... It worked for me. Hope this helps!

So I just figured this out myself, but it turns the hint cards on and off!! The Peek, Move, and Block cards on the left hand side of your game? Turns those off if you don't want to use them.🙂
