Are they planning on releasing more DLC themes in the future?
I like the themes they have but they haven't released a new one in several months so I'm not sure if the DLC is worth it as is. But if they plan to release more themes than I think it would be worth purchasing.

good question. technically the actual sesason pass has ended. probably we see more content and a new season pass? i hope so. but this time for me is a good point to introduce licensed cluedo editions from the past.

I would second that. While licensing might be an issue, I loved The Simpson's version in the 90s. A videogame version with sounds and effects would be over the top!

I'd also like to see classic vintage and retro designs.
I collect board games and have both the original 1949 Cluedo, 1949 Clue, (both in very good condition,) and a somewhat battered copy from 1956. It took me almost a decade to track down other sets to acquire all the original tokens, including an open ended "spanner/wrench" and the original "rope" [which is a piece of string tied in a noose.]
My point though, is that I'd love to play these versions without exposing my physical copies to wear and tear.

I would love more themes both retro or licensed, as well as the Master Detective version which changes the gameplay as well as the board quite a bit! I hope they're not done with this game, I'm really enjoying it.

I would LOVE to see new variations and themes added. Would 100% buy a new season pass for these if offered.

There's a space for one more DLC on the character select screen.
I expect there will be one more.

They probably slowed down due to the pandemic.

when i say "from the past", i refer to old editions of Clue (standard, not master detective or some Waddington spinoff), probably owned by Hasbro. in this way i think is more easy to add these "layouts" here.
i totally agree with you, especially to let younger players or those who don't know them, to discover these classic editions.
