but maybe is possible do the same thing with parsec gaming, a free streaming service.
https://parsecgaming.com/
-one player host a local cluedo multiplayer session and share his PC desktop video stream to friends (an account and using their launcher is mandatory for everyone for a better experience).
-After that, all players should install the cluesheet companion app on their phone and join the lobby using the lobby code provided by the game.
-Finally the host player close the lobby, add some IA if desired, and run the match.
Everyone will see the game board and interact with the app on their smartphone.
voilà.
cluesheet is free. only one person must own the game, here on steam.
also i suggest to use skype, google meet or whatsapp to make an audio room and chat with your friends in real time.
parsec works very well, for instance i've play a couple of pandemic board game on xbox game pass using my PC as host, you can manage permission to allow friends for using their keyboard/mouse and/or joypad.
of course a strong internet connection is required.
honestly remote play is similar to parsec, the only difference is integrated into steam.
